Scott Manko Fotography

A life long resident of Washington County, Scott first learned about photography at Ringgold High School in the mid eighties. He later had photography classes at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where he studied graphic design. He most recently studied at Pittsburgh Filmmakers. His photos show a vast array of subject matter from rural landscapes to Pittsburgh skylines, simple still-lifes to action sports to portraits. Be sure to check out his new Gettysburg Battlefield Panorama. He shoots color and black & white in 35mm and digital SLR as well as alternative processes using Polaroid products and a homemade camera. Scott does many art shows and festivals in the region. He received an award of merit at the Southwest Pa Council for the Arts History thru Art show in Scottdale, Pa. His photos have been used by the Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency in brochures promoting the region.
